Navarrow is the CTO of Reelio.com, A digital influencer technology platform. At Reelio he led all aspects of engineering and product development and was able to grow the team implement engineering and product policies that enabled the company to scale and double revenue. His efforts led to the company being acquired for its technology platform by Fullscreen in April 2018 He was the founder/president of Maximum Leverage Solutions, a consulting firm the works with startups, businesses and brands in the areas of business, technology and product strategy. Working with clients such as Soledad O’Brien’s Starfish Media Group and Google. Wright has served as CTO of Radio One’s online division Interactive One, CTO of Black Entertainment Television and as co-founder of GlobalGrind.com with Russell Simmons. Wright raised the funds for the venture from Accel Partners, who were also the leading investors in Facebook. GlobalGrind was acquired by Radio One in Dec 2014.
Wright has a deep technology background in the areas of platform development, CRM, digital marketing, content management, marketing automation and ecommerce. He has worked directly with companies like Google, Facebook and Shopify and implemented their technology for various clients. He is an expert in lead generation and marketing automation for companies at any stage of their life cycle fluent in paid online marketing through google and Facebook, automated email marketing and sales marketing funnel creation. He trains and consults businesses on how to use these technologies to significantly grow their customer base and revenue.
With more than 20-years experience in the technology and media industry, Wright has established himself as someone who can conceptualize and develop advanced technology solutions for leading global organizations. Wright’s unique understanding of the Internet space and ability to marry those technical advances with consumer demand has placed him as one of the premier technology experts in Internet and media. He has managed and grew businesses with +500million in revenue. As CTO of BET he was responsible for 300% growth in audience and revenue during his tenure. A key reason why the company was acquired by Viacom for 1 billion dollars. As CTO of Radio One he redesigned and deployed the company's entire online technology infrastructure which resulted in 3 million in IT cost savings while creating new business models for the company to deploy with the new technology. As Co-founder, President & CEO of Globalgrind.com he raised the company’s Series A investment from Jim Breyer of Accel Partners, one of the top VC firms in the country and the lead investor in Facebook.
Navarrow Wright has appeared on Run’s house , Gotti’s Way and the Steve Harvey radio show . He was picked by Network Journal Magazine as one of the their “40 Under forty” professionals to watch in 2009 and selected by the Innovation Generation as one of the nation’s top 100 GenerationNEXT and Information Technology leaders. He recently took part in the CNN Black in America series, which aired on November 13th 2011 and focused on blacks in technology. He was also picked By Black Enterprise Magazine for their “Next Steve Jobs list: The 10 people to watch in Technology” in 2012. He has been invited to the White house on several occasions to be involved in discussions on how policy changes can help with technology adoption and is considered an expert on the convergence of technology and media.
