Paul loves to find ways to make workplaces happy, healthy, accountable and fun through coaching and mentoring. He gets pure enjoyment when he hangs out with people, helps them to grow, be better together to solve their own tough and valuable problems.

His goal: help people and teams find their way into developing their own fawesome* abilities. He sets the space for his clients to see their opportunity within themselves without the fear and judgment. This is where fear loses its grip. Imagination, surprise and growth spark happiness and action. And, happy people who care for each other, well... they outperform those who don't, plain & simple, and that’s just brain science.

After serving as a VP of people and culture at Fulcrum Technologies, Inc., he started Heart Based Leading help multiple businesses transform into happy, healthy and fun places to work.

He has direct experience or has been trained in the following areas: Professional Coaching, People Operations, International HR, Company Culture, Employee Engagement, Behavioral Social & Psychological and Neurological Sciences, Leadership Development, Agile, Lean, TQM and Teaching.

Paul is a trained professional coach by SeattleCoach and serves clients from Seattle to Delhi India.

Paul gets people on a fundamental level and he deeply cares about them. Paul is a firm believer that employees that are happy, motivated and engaged do better work and he constantly looks for ways to achieve that. Even in his days as IT Director everyone at Fulcrum gravitated towards Paul because he would always listen and provide thoughtful advice on how to resolve interpersonal conflicts. I also had a chance to experience how things worked at Fulcrum after Paul left and the difference it made in employee morale and happiness once we’ve retained his services to continue helping us in this area.
